Angela, owner of Hagoyah wanted a 1950’s retro look with a modern, natural twist.
The main focus for the look is combining modern and retro/vintage elements.
She wanted her yoga, wellness, and beauty clients to be reminded of a time when women planning regular self-care was common. Women used to gather in salons weekly to treat themselves to stylings and time with other women. This strengthened their community and gave them time to focus on themselves.

On the main logo we have overlapping circles in the background creating the vesica picses, symbolizing knowing one’s self, self reflection, and the power of creation.
Using overturned (symbol of the feminine and the element of water) we’re representing several things. The triangles are representative of the outside world, a supportive community, and then finding yourself in the center of both of those things (the center circle).
